It’s day 19 and we’re well into making the necessary life changes we know we have to make before the New Year. By now you should have had some successes, failures and would have cemented a few new habits. CONGRATS!
Intentionality is the word for today. It doesn’t matter if you’ve started your challenge and failed a little. It doesn’t matter if you’ve felt defeated at times that you haven’t reached the goals you had set out to by this time. What matters is being intentional about whatever goals you’ve set out to reach.
The ability to make a decision and be purposeful, deliberate and strategic about it.
Building awareness of your behaviours, thoughts patterns and actions.
The ownership and responsibility for the changes you want to see.
Leaving no room for blaming external circumstances for where you’ve fallen down.
Intention allows you to stay focussed on your goal, even when you feel like straying into old ways.
So my question today is…
What’s your intention?
How committed are you to changing this area of your life?
How desperate are you about breaking out of your old patterns that no longer serve you and becoming a better you?
Change is not just going to happen. You have to make it happen!
